DIY Onion Soup Mix / DIY Brown Gravy Mix

I don't know what in the world I might have done, but I sure feel like I have wrestled a couple of midgets for 9 rounds!  I'm sure it must feel sort of like this. I think I slept "crooked" or something. A bit uncomfortable actually but it should be better soon!

Mushroom showed me how to make a wonderful honey wheat bread today.  Unfortunately I didn't take notes... so I will have to share the recipe with you when I can get her to write it down for me. She is slowly but surely weaning me off my bread machine.  One thing I do know is that it sure does smell  good around here right now.

I was looking through some old files yesterday and found a couple of recipes for some DIY mixes.  These just might come in handy one day when I don't have the originals to fall back on. Anyway, I thought I would post them here in case anyone might also find themselves needing a DIY mix of some sort!
I think I may have posted this one before but it is a really good copycat version of Lipton's Onion Soup Mix.  I love that stuff. Especially when I'm making a roast!  It is also good when you whip it up as an Onion Dip!
CopyCat Lipton's Onion Soup Mix

About 5 tablespoons of mix are equal to 1 1¼-ounce package.
***** To make onion dip: Mix 5 tablespoons with one pint of sour cream.

Here's one I found for a DYI  Brown Gravy Mix.  I like this one since I can't make a good brown gravy to save my......  Well I just can't make it!  LOL
