Thank You

I have been overwhelmed the past few days with the outpouring of kindness from you all.  The prayers and gifts of so many has truly touched my heart.  Through these blogs we have made connections and friendships that will endure for the long run. I am blessed to be a part of an online community who has shown that even across hundreds and hundreds of miles they can and do reach out and make a difference in a "virtual" strangers life.  I know how hard times are right now for so many folks these days.  It has restored my faith and makes my heart swell  to know that there are still so many good people in this world.  I cannot thank you enough.

I'd like to thank my dear friend kymber for everything she has done.  She showed me that friendships reach out beyond distances and touch your very heart. I love ya gurl!  OK I'm starting to feel real sappy now so I best snap out of it!! LOL  And I'd also like to thank North from over at the Gun Blog Blacklist for putting kymber's post up and my friend Stephen and George for linking over here as well.  Ya'll All ROCK!

We are trying to figure out exactly what to do right now and there are some plans in the works for dealing with the transportation problem.  I'll tell you what I can in a few days. Before I say too much though, I need to check with someone and see just how much I can share.   Never let it be said that there are not good people in this community of ours or that prayers are not answered.

  1. Prayers are always answered. Though in God's time, not ours :)

I'm so happy that things are on an upward path for you. The majority of our international fellow (wo)man have good hearts, and, when we can help, we always will in whatever way we can.

Yes, our thanks to kymber - for letting us know that help was need, and how we could do so.

    1. Dani, I think that's what many of us struggle with. Things ALWAYS work in God's time, not ours.

  2. I grew up 15 miles out of town without a car and it certainly is not easy! Last year our car died beyond repair and me and hubby had to bike to town almost daily the5-7 miles one way in.

Nope not easy when you do not know anyone! My thoughts are with you!

    1. You know exactly where we found ourselves then from first hand experience. One thing I've noticed is that my being an acknowledged prepper has come in handy. I'm not needing to make trips to town! Thanks for stopping by and for the positive thoughts.

  3. oh Sci - things really are going to work out because of all of the caring people still left in this world! we always talk about our online community, our online "friends" and yet we have never been pushed to the test until now. i was certain that some of our friends would definitely help - but, like you, i am blown away by the love and support! i would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all of our friends who, when they were called upon, jumped at the chance to help. it's little acts of kindness that improve not only our own souls, but make the world a better place to be. i am proud of our online friends. very, very proud!

love you Sci! and this problem is fixable!!! you guys will be fine and dandy in no time!

and thank you Dani - it really is something to have a friend who lives halfway around the world and answered our call to prayer!
