This and That

Well I don't know how...but we pulled it off. The 3/4 ton Dodge title now sits here in front of our humble abode. I guess sometimes things just fall into place. We did what we set out to do. And all parties are quite happy with the outcome. I'm too happy to recap at this time but....check out the past months posts. (not like there are many..lol) DH is sooo happy. No more worries about how we would move the RV if and when we need to. It's a big weight off both our shoulders.

I've been in the garden this morning watering and just enjoying all the new plants comming up. Everything is comming up now except for the carrots. I don't know why that is but I will be reseeding that today. The tomato's have grown a good 6-7 inches in the last week. They are kicking butt! The jalapeno peppers are looking good, as are the bell peppers and the bananna peppers.

We got the black plastice down the other day. We still haven't gone for mulch to lay over it, but all things work out in their own time I suppose. Maybe next weekend.

  4. Carrots are a pain in the ass, they have to be planted so shallow that all it takes is a little rain for them to wash down...

We planted ours on a perfect sunny day a few weeks ago and haven't had near enough sunny days to keep it going! But we'll get there. Good luck with yours.

  5. Thanks Clouded... I have never grown carrots and neither did my dad or granddad. Maybe that's why. Pain in the ass and my family's way of thinking doesn't really work out.

We did have a pretty heavy rain about three days after planting. That might have done it.
