Here's the Big Tree that had to come down so we could get the wood stove off the trailer. It is was blocking the path to the concrete pad.
Too bad the wood wasn't any good or maybe we could have used it this next winter. There sure was alot of it!See all those little "sucker" trees? They had to go too.
This is the "pad" we are eventually going to move the RV on. There used to be a house here but it burned down several years ago. On the other side of those cinder blocks is the old porch slab. As you can see, it
This is a fire pit or maybe an outdoor oven. I'm not sure what it was supposed to be but it is sitting on the slab. Eventually we will have to move it too. I'm pretty sure the RV will still fit beside it but we won't be using it as it would be way to close to start a fire in. It's going to have to come out but that is another project for another day.
It sure looks a whole lot better now doesn't it? Amazing what a little fire and a lot of elbow grease (not to mention a chainsaw) can do!
Plenty more to come in the following days so stay tuned!
~~~~ Hey ... I'm Just Sayin' ... ~~~~
Definitely shaping up nicely. Great pad.
ReplyDeleteLookin' good!
ReplyDeleteThat nice brick fireplace is probably the reason the house burnt down. LOL
ReplyDeleteLooking much better.
ReplyDeleteIt looks really good.
ReplyDelete~sigh~ I am envious of your burn ban being lifted.
ReplyDeleteIf you get any more rain, send some down this way.
ReplyDeleteGet busy damit! FK
ReplyDeleteThings are looking great. Would the fire place work as a planter? I can see some lovely flowers growing there - right outside your RV :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to more pictures!
Sci, it's really looking great. I bet it looks better because it's yours. lol
ReplyDeleteI'm not exactly sure what the question is here. Is there a reason I would base any studies on clearing brush and trash?
