New Poll

Check out the new poll over on the right hand side of the page and tell me what YOU think!!  If the Republican Elections were a "Survival" Reality Show, Who would YOU vote off first??
If you want to tell me who and why just leave a comment below.
Personally, I am tired of it all and wish they would all just let it rest for awhile. I mean come on, the elections are almost a year away and I am sick to death of hearing about it already.  As far as I'm concerned its all pandering and preening for public consumption and isn't really doing much more than spending money ( and ticking me off!!! )

  1. Although I think Bachman is as big an idiot and wanna be as Palin [both make me embarrassed for the female sex sometimes - they're insipid twits] Cain is SUCH a liar. He opens his mouth and I have to turn the channel. It is all damage control for something he did, not once, not twice - but at least five times to women who not only don't know eachother, but don't have agendas. And he thinks he did nothing wrong.

The Dems promise to be just as interesting, I am sure. I do have to agree with you, it is just TOO dang early to listen to anyone blather on about the state of what the "might" do to help fix this predicament the country is in.

    Who did you vote for?

  2. As far as the media coverage goes my daddy had a good saying....believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see. It's all hot air.

  3. I'm afraid that Rick Perry has made one too many mistakes for my peace of mind and I can't get the fact that he worked for Al Gore out of my mind. Cain...well, I kind of liked him to start with but he too has made one too many mistakes. Michelle Bachman is being "handled" too much and Romeny is like a walking Bril-Cream and Denta-Bright commercial, plus there's Romney Care. I hate that it's coming down to someone who won't get elected (Ron Paul) and a guy with a lizard name.

  4. Does not matter who the Republicans run Obama will win reelection. With every new channel with the possible exception of one running nonstop campaign ads disguised as news. Every newspaper and most magazines doing the same thing his billion-dollar campaign fund just doubled or tripled with all the free promotion. I do not see any Republican overcoming that.

  5. I agree with Badger, the media is the one who basically "picks" our presidents. You think Obama is bad NOW? Just wait until his last four years.

  6. I'm like you! I'm ready for all these jokers to take some time off from spending and burning up the airways with their lies!

The media coverage is a joke and such a sham! It would be nice to have a little "true" news coverage!

  8. Wow - are you guys serious? Anyone would be better than having Obama another 4 years. We will not survive. But I guess that is what you are waiting for.

I am prepping for some bad economic times, but not for the end of the world.

I suggest you all get involved in what is going on in Washington. This is why things like this is happening, too many people have sat back and just let Washington get out of control.

I doubt I will come back to your site.

  9. Skippy, It's most certainly a mess! As for who I would vote off first, I am rather prejudiced, coming from Texas I know a whole lot more about ol' Governor Guardasil than lots of folks. Therefore he is gets my vote for getting out of this race.

Momlady, your dad's a smart man for sure!

HP, I almost spit my coffee on the keyboard with your lizard comment! LOL!!!!

Badger, I can only hope you are wrong about Obummer. He will take down the last vestiges of what remains of America given another term.

    SFG Amen Girl!

Jim, wouldn't it be refreshing to have a REAL election for a change? A bit of truth in advertising would be a refreshing change.

  12. It's not fair that the poll doesn't let you pick more than one choice! =)

  13. I pray every day I am wrong and do all I can to see Obama is a 1 term President. However, just the other day in a new conference a major news channel CNN ask the president this after the Republican debate.

President Obama was asked by CNN “reporter” Dan Lothian about his thoughts on the GOP candidates’ positions on the practice of waterboarding, “Last night at the Republican debate, some of the hopefuls, they hope to get your job, they defended the practice of waterboarding which is a practice you banned in 2009. Herman Cain said, quote, ‘I don’t see that as torture.’ Michele Bachmann said that it’s, quote, ‘very effective.’ So I’m wondering if you think that they’re uninformed, out of touch, or irresponsible.”
This was asked by CNN’s White House correspondent Dan Lothian to President Obama in Hawaii.

With this level of bias among mainstream media I do not see the Republicans having enough cash to counter them. For example ABC, NBC and CBS all have I think 3 hour daily morning shows. That will be 15 hours every week of pro Obama and negative any Republican until the election. That is just one example. Add in all the hard new and soft news doing the same and there will easily be 40-50 hours of bias against any Republican.

Again, I pray and work so this will not happen but I see a dark future. The real possibility to stop Obama is to hold the House and take control of the Senate. It would not stop everything there are still Executive Orders, judicial appointments (which the senate should block) and cabinets setting administrative regulations.

And to Anonymous, I do hope you return to this site. SciFiChick has a great site with tons of good advice and information. If you check the archives you will find this is not a political site. This was the first political question I remember (I am old and do suffer from old-timers now and then) so I might have forgotten others. This is not an end of the world site but a place to share thoughts and ideas. So check back and contribute to the discussion.

  14. You don't even mention the first one I'd vote off - Jon Huntsman, former governor of Utah and Obama's ambassador to China. I wish Ron Paul had a better foreign policy - he really gets what the Constitution is about.

  15. I find it interesting that Mitt Romney is second ONLY to Michelle Bachman in this poll to be the first voted off the ballot. Yet from the very beginning, the media has been spinning Romney as the only viable candidate against Obama. Apparently the media is far less effective in influencing public opinion than they would hope.
