The List

Feinstein's attempt to ban over 150 types of  semi-auto is so outrageously over the top that it has little chance of passing in the Senate, much less the House.  I'm always's suspicious of things that are huge stories on the MSM.  It most always is a coverup ment to distract you from an even bigger story that they'd rather you not be aware of. (Like Bengazi maybe?)   I know, some of you are going to say I've wandered back down that conspiracy trail again.  To be honest?  I've wandered so far down the rabbit hole that there is no turning back.

I figure what Feinstein and the gun grabbers really want is to see is an eventual compromise of some sort.  They get... say... half of what they are looking to do.  A tactical move on their part.  If they can get even some of what they want, then they have won.  They want a national registry so bad they can almost smell the gun powder.  What gun powder is that?  That would be the tracking and sales limits of our ammunition.  They also want to put online ammo sites out of business.  They want it all, of course, but will settle for any concessions made, as that means they have their foot in the proverbial door.  Once firmly planted there, they can move on to the next item on their agenda.  They want our guns folks.  That's the bottom line.

We cannot let this happen, we can't afford to give an inch, because as we know you give them an inch and they will take a mile.  I personally don't think this particular bill has a chance in hell of passing as it stands.  I think they know that. They are looking for that foothold that will allow them to crawl right up into our personal space.

Have a look at "The List"      My old Marlin 22 rifle is on that list. I'm betting those of you who own guns will find them on this list as well.  My grandaddy gave me that gun and I'm damn sure going to keep it.
                           Hey.... I'm just sayin' ...

  1. What really pisses me off (imagine that) is the ignorance of the masses that actually BELIEVE that they (Feds/State/Politicianmorons) will just stop once they have that little victory, or bill. What person in their right mind can actually say that the government has not, probably EVERY DAY, continued encroaching on every right imaginable, day by day, vote by vote, law by law. Death by a million (paper) cuts.

  2. Something that no-one is mentioning either is that the huge recent orders of ammo by the feds accomplishes TWO things. It further stocks TheM and keeps the companies from filling CIVILIAN orders.

    1. Get involved with a militia. Join forces with anyone you trust and the ammo will be combined to those who can shoot better than you (me in this case) With the new purchase of 2000 ar15's says it all..I just wish the mfg's would not sell to the government and the almight $$ because if they do come after us the gov will take them too...they best think about that.

  7. I don't know guys, but your Grandpa's Marlin ain't on the proscribed list. I think it over on the list of weapons that are excluded from the legislation.

Now, don't get me wrong, I can't say that I support the legislation, but I am fairly sure your 22 is safe.

  8. I think my egg beater is on that list (too many blades makes it an assault egg beater).

  9. I checked the list of exempted firearms and it specifically names .22 rifles with tubular magazines as safe. However, my Ruger .22 which has a detatchable magazine is in jeopardy.

  10. I bet my Australian didgeridoo is probably on that list. Imagine what you could conceal inside of it. At least, that's what the airport security told me at the Los Angeles airport.

  11. I'll tell you what I think the media hype is covering for... for the fact that the powers that be are in a full court press right now to program our kids in their schools. They are doing everything possible to make our kids think that personal gun ownership is ridiculous and dangerous and to ridicule anyone and punish them if they disagree. They make them feel like outcasts and criminals for playing with anything gun-like or even talking about guns.

If their teachers, who most little kids love and respect, have any kind of differing opinion, even in their private lives, they are ostracized for them to see and to be reminded that they can't think that way. I tell you if we don't stop the public school system NOW, it won't make any difference what kind of gun laws we pass today, because tomorrow our kids will give them away freely.
