I've been taking pictures of the road in front of the house since last summer. Here is the one from yesterday. See that white stuff?? Woo Hooo!!!! I'm still enjoying the change of seasons here. Sure is different than it was in Texas!
Did you know that there are 3 Friday the 13th's this year? And that they are 13 weeks apart? Pretty interesting!
Here's a picture from yesterday.
And here is what it looks like today!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday. We are working out on the property clearing and burning some brush and "stuff".
~~~~~~ Hey ... I'm Just Sayin' ... ~~~~~~
Oh how I am glad you got that white stuff and not us. That is one thing I like about living in Texas. We don't get it very often and thank God it never last long. I am glad for you that you were able to enjoy it. Not everyone hates snow like I do.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the beautiful weather. I have been outside here in NE Texas and it is gorgous!
Looks like a pretty day:) We still have white stuff on the ground and it's freezing out there!
ReplyDeleteIt's lookin' good, Sci and the doggie (smack me now, I forgot her name) looks happy. :)
ReplyDeleteLove & Hugs
Wow your place is looking good. We still have some snow on the ground yet. heck it was even flurrying out this morning, still.
ReplyDeleteGen, I spent 99% of my life in Texas (mostly Galveston and Austin) so for me the changing seasons are still a new treat for me. So far I still like the snow but its not like we get all that much here. Just enough for me to act like a little kid in my excitement. Seasons still haven't lost their appeal to me. Catch me in a few years and I might have changed my mind... But for now... WOOO HOOOO IT SNOWED!!!!
ReplyDeleteMystic, its definitely colder up there and I'll bet on the top of that mountain it's pretty dang chilly! Yet another reason I didn't want to move any farther to the North than we did. I don't really do "cold" cold real well. Must be the Coastal Rat in me! LOL
Ohh Fel, Thanks so much for stopping by today! (Her names BB) and let me tell you she would be heartbroken if we ever had to move. She loves it out here as much as we do! No more leashes and such... Love ya Girl!
Coley, thanks! We keep working and working on it. Flurries huh? Cool! LOL
I love the separate seasons - gotta' have them. And the more snow, the better!
ReplyDeleteI love the facts about the Friday the 13ths this year. I wonder how common it is to have that many?
Skippy, I don't really know how common it is, but I have to think that this is more than the usual. Of course, I could be wrong! It happens much more often than my being right! LOL
DeleteGlad you're having fun, Sci. I'm still waiting to see if we get snow again this year. If we do, it will be the third year in a row ...certainly not common in these parts!
ReplyDeleteThere was a guy in the office this morning. I was notarizing some documents for him and happened to mention today is Friday the 13th ...he was seriously unnerved. I thought he was joking at first, but then I said, 'No, really ...and it happens two more times this year!' He must superstitious. He made the sign of the cross on himself three times, muttering under his breath. Sheesh!
Looks like you got a nice dusting of snow. This is the type of snow I love. We seen just a few snow flakes (nothing staying on the ground), high winds and low temperatures. Tomorrow back in the 60's!
ReplyDeleteI love Friday the 13th. 13 is my lucky number (something good always happens for me). Thanks for making my day and advising I have several more Friday the 13ths to look forward to. I was also born on the 13th of June.
sooo glad that BB loves it there! our cats love it here also! oh and i love all of the pics - take more please!
ReplyDeleteyour friend,
kymber
HB,Right now life is about as good as it gets,weatherwise any way! I bet that poor guy was having fits. LOL at crossing himself 3 times... one for each 13th this year?
ReplyDeleteSandy, it was pretty while it lasted, and it makes it better that we are going to be having a warm and sunny weekend. My B'Day is the 14th so I always think THAT is the lucky number!
Kymber... you and your shameless love of pictures... I just love that about you!
Is it maybe your birthday, today, Saturday?
ReplyDeleteIf it is, Happy Birthday honey and thanks for stopping by my joint.
BTW, best wishes.
Busted.
Awww Busted... you noticed! LOL Thanks for the birthday wishes :D
ReplyDeleteAs for stopping by your joint... I wouldn't miss it for the world. You get me to see things in another light and make me laugh too!
