One is to use paper towels to "cushion" the sharp edges. The other would be to seal them in canning jars. They make an adapter for jars that is awesome. It's like $10 and worth every penny.

Rene, sorry hun but the promo ended on the 14th. :(Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01666836930255009486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4429758274949022857.post-34993905007004651052011-08-15T07:59:43.985-06:002011-08-15T07:59:43.985-06:00i would love the link also

Somtimes when I put in say, dried cherries, the cherries poke small holes in the bag and I lose the seal. I was thinking of putting some wax paper in the bag and then the food to see if that would cushion the pointy parts of the food. Do you have any suggestions?spinnersawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16763380819352813272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4429758274949022857.post-91323135532043705052011-08-13T15:41:47.765-06:002011-08-13T15:41:47.765-06:00I just saw your link over on rural revolution. Wonderful invention.

http://simpleeverydayliving.blogspot.com/Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16924988248364848607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4429758274949022857.post-80305537805688309652011-08-13T11:13:59.321-06:002011-08-13T11:13:59.321-06:00Count me in, Sci. It's a great price to include the sealer and it will be nice to have a backup. All those extras will come in handy in the meantime.
